2025 Nevada State Society DAR
Summer Forum
Join us for the 2025 NSSDAR Summer Forum in Mesquite Nevada. The Virgin Valley Chapter is honored to host this fun, engaging, informative and supportive event. The Forum will be on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Eureka Casino Resort from 9-5. We will have a Buffet Lunch featuring a presentation by Adele Lancaster, National Division Chair of the Constitution Week Committee, and will be hearing updates from State Committee Chairs, participating in breakaway workshops and service projects, along with being taken back in time with our guest speaker, Debe Jacobs, who will be spotlighting Abigail Adams, "Remember the Ladies". Additional fun activities to participate in from Friday through Sunday. Make time to connect with your fellow Nevada Daughters!
Forum Weekend Agenda
Friday Socalizing Time
Start the Forum weekend off with a Patriotic Paint & Pour casual class on Friday August 1st, from 2-5 pm. We will provide the canvas and paint and tools to create a beautiful Patriotic 11x14 piece of art you can take home with you. Snacks, beer/ wine and soft drinks are provided, along with some fun socializing time. $40 Limited Seating.

Continue socializing at a casual Bunco Party from 6-9 pm. Shake up the night in this fun dice game. It's a game of pure luck with no skills/strategy required! We will have pizza and beer/wine and soft drinks, and a lot of fun and laughs. The party will be held at the Vets Center - check out the Military Memorabilia and some history from the Mesquite Veteran's Center. $15

Saturday Main Event
The Summer Forum will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Eureka Casino Resort Ballroom. The day's agenda starts at 9 and goes to 5 with State Committee Chair updates, breakaway workshops and service projects and our guest speaker, Debe Jacobs, will take us back in time spotlighting Abigail Adams, "Remember the Ladies". The Buffet Luncheon is hosted by the Eureka.

Headcount needed by July 15.

Sunday Tour of Mesquite
Learn about the history of Mesquite and join in on a virtual tour of our beautiful town. Sunday, August 3rd from 9-10:30am we will meet at the Virgin Valley Heritage Museum and take a virtual walk though several historical homes, museum, stores, school and more! Headcount needed by July 15.
